AI and Responsible Use Policy

Our ethical principles and commitments in the design, development, and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions.

This is a courtesy translation provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the legally binding text.

1. Our view on responsible AI

At AIGiner we believe that artificial intelligence must be developed and deployed responsibly, transparently, and for the benefit of people and society. Every solution we design starts from this principle.

We are committed to following the ethical principles for AI established by the European Commission in its Guidelines on Trustworthy AI and to acting in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on Artificial Intelligence (the AI Act) as it comes into force.

2. Principles that guide our work

PrincipleDescription
TransparencyWe inform our clients about how the AI systems we implement work, their limitations, and their potential biases.
Human oversightWe design solutions that keep humans at the center of critical decision-making. AI assists, it does not replace human judgment.
Privacy by designWe build in data protection from the design phase, minimizing the collection and processing of personal information.
Non-discriminationWe actively assess and mitigate bias in the models and data we use to avoid discriminatory outcomes.
Security and robustnessWe carry out security testing on the systems we deploy and adopt measures to prevent malicious or adversarial use.
Social benefitWe prioritize AI applications that generate real value for people and organizations, and reject projects with a negative social impact.

3. Tools and models we use

In AIGiner's custom consultancy projects, we integrate the AI models best suited to each client's needs (leading commercial models and open-source models). By using these services, we are subject to their acceptable use policies, which prohibit without exception:

  • Generating content that harms, deceives, or exploits people
  • Creating weapons or facilitating illegal activities
  • Developing mass surveillance systems without a legal basis
  • Producing sexual content involving minors
  • Impersonating identities without consent

We carry these restrictions over into every one of our projects and reinforce them with our own internal guidelines.

Shara, our SaaS product, follows a different model based on model aliases (Prelude, Sonata, Symphony, Concerto). The actual provider behind each alias is confidential information shared only under NDA with Max and Local Plan clients. More detail: our no-lock-in philosophy.

4. Use of AI on the AIGiner website

Our own website uses AI systems in the following ways:

UseDetail
Conversational assistant (chat bubble)Connected to language models through n8n. Conversations may be used to improve the assistant's quality, always in anonymized form. Responses are indicative and do not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice.
Chat widget (floating bubble)This is the interface for AIGiner's customer support assistant, a floating assistant available across the site. No conversation is stored in the user's browser.
Audit and contact formsThe data provided is processed by n8n for internal handling. It is not used to train AI models without express consent.

5. Uses we refuse

AIGiner refuses to develop or participate in projects involving:

  • Social scoring systems or mass surveillance of citizens
  • Deepfakes without the consent of the affected individuals
  • Generation of disinformation or automated propaganda
  • Autonomous weapons systems or systems with lethal capability
  • Discriminatory profiling based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
  • Systems that psychologically manipulate users without their knowledge

6. Transparency about AI limitations

AI systems have inherent limitations that we always communicate to our clients:

LimitationDescription
HallucinationsLanguage models can generate incorrect information with apparent confidence. Human oversight of responses is essential.
BiasModels can reproduce biases present in their training data. We assess and mitigate these risks in every project.
PrivacyInformation entered into third-party AI systems may be used for training. We advise our clients on which data is safe to process.

7. Contact and incident reporting

If you detect inappropriate use of AI in our systems, unexpected assistant behavior, or any ethical concern related to our services, write to us at security@aiginer.com. We will investigate and respond within a maximum of 5 business days.
